My comment is in regards to RE4 alone. I watched my brother play Code: Veronica when I was a child, but RE4 was the first time I tried to play an RE game. Is there a least “game-ified” title in the RE series that might be a better entry point for me?

I tried playing RE4 in 2020. When I got to the castle I just couldn’t anymore. It was too game-ified and the merchant definitely contributes to that feeling. The fact I can kill a crow and it drops a grenade, a gem, currency, etc. is just so dumb. 

The point of language is to communicate things. Regardless of whether it is done to exacting specifications, as long as it’s successful is all that really matters.

Correct me if I’m wrong. Playstation Plus subscribers, at the appropriate tier, will be able to attach a game license to their account that allows them to play said game in perpetuity so long as they keep their subscription active. And there is only a limited window to attach the game license.

Wasn’t there an amusement park that skirted the weight and size requirements for a ride that lead to the death of a teenager? I’m sure that was a wake-up call to every amusement park in the nation to adhere to stricter procedures and requirements for rider safety.

Reading the preliminary report myself, it looks like every effort was made to communicate that the engine turbines were still spinning. From multiple ground crew meetings, to the pilot, to lights indicating that the turbine was spinning, to even being nearly knocked down while placing the rear cone.

It’s awful to hear…

The fact that they didn’t have a test with these exact variables is not surprising because when testing software you will NEVER have enough time to test everything.
