Wolf’s Rain, Cowboy Bebop, Tokyo Godfathers, Macross Plus, Samurai Champloo, Space Dandy, Carole and Tuesday: This is a murderer’s row of anime classics over the past 3 decades, and this woman’s responsible for writing a good chunk, if not most of them. I grew up with them and still am in awe of them all.

All they have to do is lean into pre-Abrams-Kurtzman-era Trek and they’ll be golden.

They should just hire Frank Klepacki to do the soundtrack to this new Dune game.

Is that woman supposed to be Karen S’jet?

Still having trouble wrapping my mind around Nicky Sobotka being Master Chief, but I know he’ll nail this.

Booooo. Should’ve been Metroid Dread.

Ah yes, the “I have no idea how McGovern lost; everyone I knew voted for him” excuse.

I hear that this is set during the High Republic-era nonsense that Disney is trying to make a thing. If so, I’ll easily pass on this.

This whole “awards” show is just one long commercial for game after game after game. That’s all it is and has ever been. I’m surprised people expect it to be more than that.

Or playing the great game, where Elon’s a dickbag CEO trying to rip off his workers and various governments to put an extra penny in his pocket. I dunno. I haven’t listened to this song and I won’t, because he’s awful, and

It’s always nice to see that as older great manga wrap up their runs, newer great manga appear to take their place. Jujutsu Kaisen and Tokyo Revengers in particular are both treats. Demon Slayer is continuing its insane sales run as well, which will probably ramp up as the new season starts up within the week.

That’s nice. Myself, I’d prefer a comprehensive federal voting rights bill, but something like this is better than nothing, I guess.

Good! He’s a great Spidey and his movies are pretty damn good. If we get more of that, I certainly won’t complain.

Zack, you said it first and foremost: it was available. And in a day and age when consoles are in short supply, the one that’s available will be the one that sells the best.

Nice deals, but it’s usually physical or bust for me. Digital only if I have no other alternative.
