The Disney-Fox deal killed all of these shows. Well...that, and the shows weren’t very good.
A lineup for the ages? Let me venture that maybe it’s not that: maybe it’s that these were all a crop of fairly overrated comedies that weren’t so good to begin with, were correctly identified as such by the American television viewing audience and not watched as a result.

The people behind Supernatural keep the show cheap. As long as they do The CW will keep renewing it.
I think LMS got significantly cheaper to make. And that’s why it’s back. In 1-2 years it will get cancelled again - count on it.
It sure seems that way given how the development of this movie has progressed.
