I think the answer to that question is “no.”
I’m sure this will succeed the same way other reboots have for the CW. Like the Dynasty reboot or the Frequency reboot, for example!

Mueller isn’t narrowing his focus. Obstruction just seems to be one of the avenues he is pursuing. Believe you me, there are others.

TLJ made a billion bucks. Whether one thinks it sucked or not, that’s all Disney cares about. I’m sure he’s in fine standing with them.
Given Kathleen Kennedy’s track record here, she’ll give Reed a SW film, then 3/4 of the way through production fire her, while leaking out information about how Reed was doing a bad job as director, and replace her with Patty Jenkins in an attempt to save the picture.
