All these spiders (and other fiats/lancias) used a LAMPREDI engine, thats DOHC aluminum crossflow with either bosh fuel injection or dual sidedraft webers... not only bulletproof but also THE MOST SUCCESSFUL ENGINE IN THE HISTORY OF WORLD RALLY.
