Some Founding Fathers warned against political parties, and this is likely the reason why.

It’s not a question of agreeing or disagreeing just don’t think this is a great forum for debates on gun control, abortion, immigration or other contentious issues that won’t be solved in the comments section of a car blog. I’d just rather people bitch about all that on the site for bitching about stuff not the one

Rational decision-making, consideration of long-term consequences, knowing when the safest course of action is to back down—all of these should be a factor when considering someone’s suitability to own a firearm, is the point I imagine he’s trying to make.

It’s a massive stretch. I agree...... _but_ if you wanted to relate the two subjects, it would probably look something like this...

Seriously, bro? You can’t really see a connection between one thing and the other?

Wasn’t there a vote or discussion in Congress to shut down production of the tanks, but was halted by the congressman in the district, or pulled his power to stop that from happening or something...?

Yep, found it. 2013, Odierno said he’d rather spend the money on something else, but was being pushed through congress

They’re obsolete, designed for a war that will never come. British tanks are better. The M1A2 is designed for maximum profit margin. And we have WAY more of them than we’ll ever need. Most of them are sitting in the boneyards, many straight out of the factory. They should design a new, smaller, fast, more efficient

So much for all those billions of dollars. The only reason we’re still buying those things in because the manufacturer is to cheap to diversify into civilian goods, instead they bribe our congressmen.

In all fairness, I just like picking on the jeep crowd. The fanboy overzealous nature makes them kind of easy targets.

Now playing

Jeep owners are so cute climbing up their little inclines. To keep it halfway on topic, I’m impressed at the Wrangler Rubicon’s 73:1 low 1st. I wouldn’t have expected it to be lower then a purpose built military truck with a low range AND portal axles.

No room for a V8? I guess this guy better take his out then.

So youspent 10 years pretty much working on it and you drive 1k a year. I don’t think you’re in a position to claim reliability :D. Sell your daily and use the vette as primary, its all rebuild now so should do just fine :P

I own a 79, you are right, it has yugo performance when stock. The only reason why the previous guy claims reliability because he probably drives 200 miles a year. The suspension is not as bad as you think (after polly bushings and new schocks) the steering is like driving an old semi- pitman arm, rag joints, power

Im not very knowledgeable about MBs but this looks to be a w201, not W124 thats mentioned in the article.
