What do you mean by fairly pokey?

Dude, we spend more on our armed forces then the other top 4 countries combined. Im sure we’ll manage without this piece of technology....

Never seen a first gen cherokee in person but the pics are hipnotizing! I like it more than broncos and scouts....

Not to mention you could throw “vintage air” in there !

I hate when they do that!

That wasn’t a jeep I6.... that was AMC!;) here is my dream jeep, but with the 401 instead (biggest engine ever in a jeep)

You’ve seen sixties trucks in junkyards lately? And with nice interriors too? Wow... i was thinking fix the interior with mexican blankets instead...;)

SH-AWD (in RLs, TLs and suvs) uses a regular FWD transmission bolted to a “torque transfer unit” so there is a chance!

Damn, i wonder if it would fit in my RL (05) its begging for a nice manual swap over the 5speed auto. Yes! 8 speed an SH-AWD!

I would love to see something like the first gen cherokee instead

I thought the same thing, wtf is he talking about, faster than a c6? 1985 c4 sure but c6? Not to mention i would rather compare the aston to the cadillac etc since its a luxury coupe...

You love that van dont you! It has to be the 47th time i see that pic, and no- i don’t have a problem with it at all :D cheers and good luck with it!

Sure there was other engines but how does the author knows this one was 1.2 was my question

Thats so awesome! Heck some opels were v8 from factory but i dont remember what flavor (commodore? )

The coincidance is that opel and chevy are both GM. Also im not sure were he came up with 1.2L The performance variants were 1.9 and 2.0 CIH engines and 1.6 was also available.

What are the towing issues you had? Tongue weight? Brakes?

Do you have any sources for this info?

I agree, not hideous but they aren’t doing the car any favours, and when we’re talking a model only made for one year, extremely desirable and valuable i want to spit on the owner!

I think its vice versa, bmw were not so great at that time (when trabant was new) they mostly struggled and faced bancrupcy while making motorcycle powered cars like this:

We had the same style autobahn in Silesia going west of Breslau (currently wroclaw poland) build by Adolf in the 30ties. Same legend too - the thumping stops around 110kmh but two stroke cars had a hard Time going that fast
