Not a retelling, but an amusing novel that deftly handles the tropes of comic books heroes and villains.

LEAVE THIS HOUSE
So tell me, when did you lose your soul?
Episode II was tolerable. The rest were crap.
"It's not even remotely as simple as, 'OK load up an old build off some old drives, throw it up on the servers.'"
This sounds awful.
There really should be a new Star Trek series on TV. The problem, though, is what form this show would take. I am really frustrated with J.J. Trek and do NOT want a TV show that takes place in that universe. But does it make sense to make a show set in a different Trek than what's in the shitty films?
I've never understood copyright laws. Why should Shuster's heirs get the rights to his work? They didn't do it; they didn't do anything to deserve the ongoing revenues of the characters except be born. That sets the bar pretty low for them to contribute anything to society.
We've secretly replaced MuseZack's heart with Folger's crystals. Will Folder's rich, dark crystals be rich enough to allow MuseZack to feel?
LOVED Pacific Rim. :P
No Shatner. It would be bloody pointless and stupid and no one wants to see him as an old man. Besides, isn't OK (Original Kirk) dead?
Gunnerkrigg Court is one of my favorite comics. Would LOVE to see this as a series.
Continuity is very important to me... so much so that messing around with it really bothers me.
I invested in the first couple of episodes. I take it I should avoid the rest?

The goo is multiplying. Running fails.
KHAAAAAAAN!
"The Ring" is awesome. It's a great American version of "Ringu".
