Honestly this sounds like someone wanted to copy “Hard Knocks” (NFL documentary following a team during pre-season) but did not bother to study how that show works and thought showing “tough” moments is enough.

It doesn’t sound difficult, just not terribly respectful of the amount of drive space you’ve got allocated, and your time. Considering it’s 2021, something like this should be seamless to implement. MS seems to have figured it out.
