Cloak & Dagger with Human Torch, Doctor Strange and a few other movement cards are really hard to stop given the deck has cards to help such as Armor and Cosmo/Enchantress to help counter. The move decks that are built on that cookie-cutter ladder of Nightcrawler > Kraven > Vulture > Cloak/Strange > Vision > Heimdall…
That’s great for a deck that actually relies on Heimdall. There are move deck setups that are great with Heimdall but don’t rely on him, and get even more help when others are expecting Heimdall. I think what’s going on is we more commonly see the Heimdall setup which may not even have Human Torch unlocked, but the…
I’m guessing this card is mostly a problem in the higher tiers, because I hover in the 40/50/60 range and almost exclusively see this card blow a player’s game rather than save it. I suppose my decks maybe just don’t allow for it to take advantage. Copying a Heimdall isn’t going to do anything for them if their board…
She herself refuses to separate the art from the artist, so why should her audience?
It seemed like his whole body was flexed, which is step 1 towards disaster, and that includes his leg through his knee. With even more pressure being put on it from the jumping and his leg being at an angle that isn’t great for load-bearing it was only a matter of time. Your body will naturally bend and flex if you’re…
Weirdly salty post, 5 of the 6 games they’ve delivered have been fun to me, and the one I don’t like isn’t even a game, it’s some weird beat making app. I’ve sideloaded 2 pretty fun games as well from Itch.io.
I would be surprised if they really got everyone in Group 3 before the New Year. I’m unit #25,999 so they’d almost have to be delivering 1k per week to hit that. At the very least holiday shipping will throw a wrench in that, but it seems like they’ve been slightly lagged on their projections throughout.
The Playdate is eye catching for sure. I got mine a week ago and while I haven’t taken it out in public it’s been stealing a lot of my attention at home simply because of the look.

You still get to play the regular game against them, it’s just in its own separate mode that has a different sort of meta ruleset. At its broad level it’s essentially a best of 3, or a best of 5, depending how aggressive you/your friend are. You each have 10 cubes and then just play the game normally until someone is…
I guess I’ll trust engineers that tested prototypes for hundreds of hours, but I’m sort of still scratching my head as to how they couldn’t develop a battery that clipped in or fit more snug to where it didn’t move. Tons of devices with removable batteries have figured this out I feel.
I haven’t gone anywhere, I’m asking a question about how RAM usage works and asking if it could be better. I don’t know what your problem is dude.
.........what? So if there’s an opportunity for the game to be running better, I’m just supposed to...not want that?
I know Crisis Core came out in the peak of Square’s reputation as creators of some of the best looking games, but jesus the original looks so good for a PSP game.
Westworld, meanwhile, was unjustly canceled a few months after airing its fourth season
In those cases the game would use less I would assume. I guess the question I’m asking is: Is my understanding correct that RAM usage doesn’t have to be a static thing and a game could utilize more when available and less when other programs are running? Obviously with a floor usage like 8gb and scales up from there.
I’ll admit I’m not that technically savvy, but with RAM isn’t it the case that we actually want games to use a lot of it? Obviously requiring such a high amount is problematic as a barrier for entry, but it always seemed odd to me that as an owner of 32gb of RAM my games were only using 4-10gb.
That’s been the case for years
