The best way to get ready for Tears of the Kingdom for me is to play none of these, or really any open world game, in the few months leading up to the launch. Open-world burnout kept me from giving BOTW more than a 5-hour shot for like 3 years.

hmmm
However, there’s a clear line between the way a VR game and a non-VR game look—there’s a level of richness, detail, and polish that separates the two. Horizon Call of the Mountain blurs that line on PSVR2.
Wouldn’t your concern about game exclusivity be increased further with PSVR2? I find the opposite is true more, that games are only coming to the Oculus store so I can’t play with my friends that have PCVR headsets. Regardless of whether or not that’s anecdotal, it just seems like PSVR is the worst option when it…
Yeah dude, you’re in the wrong here.
When this game came out it wasn’t clicking for some reason. I got about 1/3 through the story and shelved it for 2 years, returning to finish in 2020 but not really feeling that enthralled with it.
Its peak user count was 3,089 in 2017 (not sure if this is when it was a humble bundle game, it randomly spikes to this amount and no other month is even close), I have a hard time believing it even made a million before Valve’s cut is considered. Also hilarious of them to suggest that millions are being left on the…
We don’t need it, but I’ll take it over the previous use of “clone” which always just felt derogatory for some games.
It’s a real shame we’ve seen the gameplay or I might actually want to get invested in this game again.
I don’t think they have a whole lot of interest in telling 4 compelling stories, this game is geared towards co-operative play and likely expanding via some live service model.
They don’t make ‘em like they used to...thankfully, in this case.
I get that covering these actors up reduces the draw, but every streamer show that is supposed to be in post-apocalypse or some other dire setting just seems to look way too clean. Throw a couple of handfuls of mud on these people.
Periodle is my favorite of the Wordle-likes. Using the periodic table to make words hits the right level of casual challenge.
There’s also no real threat of exclusivity at this point, which was a big point of contention in the Microsoft/Bethesda/Activision ordeal.
All you had to do was follow the damn train Jesse
Yes
I’m really just talking about fonts as a starting point. Can’t it at least somewhat reflect the setting of the game?
I think it’s more that it’s just the internet and the writer is bulldozing through week after week seemingly ignoring comments (let’s toss the most aggressive ones aside) that at least are signaling to him that something is being lost on him, so the frustration is mounting. At some point, and I’m not saying we’re…
The picture of that loadout is depressing, in regards to the UI. So many developers use it with games that could have very stylish UIs given the content/setting of the game.
Are you Manuel’s burner account? Every comment thread that speaks negatively of the review you’re there trying to tear them down.
