How do you know it serves no purpose? Other people have already proposed logical purposes for this storage.

Butchered is pretty harsh, I thought for a clearly not-as-big-of-a-budget-as-AC game they did pretty well interpolating a large area. I think the scale and level of detail in that game is wonky but overall not bad.
This is probably a more common one these days and not incredibly tragic, but for some reason From Software was super slow (still might not be there?) on adopting cloud saving on Steam. I had a NG+7 file on Dark Souls 3 that I lost when reformatting my C drive. The worst part is I knew it didn’t cloud save, it’s just I…
Sunshine is the shining example of “porque no los dos.” It is an unfinished, rushed, sloppy, headscratching (in terms of game design) game with plenty of filler and flat out broken segments. But it is also fun, full of this weird charm, sometimes difficult in good ways and very aesthetically pleasing imo.
There are some good games in there, the box sets look nice, and I can appreciate the collector aspect of it. However, at $22-$25 per game I don’t feel it’s really worth it. I’d expect that maybe for a LRG pressing of each game I guess, but as a bundle it seems high. Also just seems like if this is in the spirit of…
Reading the rest of the article doesn’t contradict his point, it enforces it. The author provides reasons why Nintendo might do this. So there was no reason to say that there is no reason to explain the decision. The caveat to that statement should have been that there’s no reasonable explanation to the decision. Or…
Thankfully, the streaming service has it available for you to watch whenever.
At this point I feel like they need a Redd event. Just increasing his rate will still move the art collection at a snail’s pace if he’s still allowed to show up with all fakes (twice in a row for me lately, yay). Unless it’s literally every M-F. But I’ll likely have every bug and fish (already got every fossil) and…
I don’t think they’ll go back to KK on Fridays, the whole reason for the shift was that it fucked with Redd and others appearing Monday-Friday. The game still has a Redd problem, they can’t make it worse by taking one of the days he spawns.
Not really, I like EDM but have some self awareness about it.
They also make beautiful games that run really well on PC (minus Microsoft Store interface related issues)
Interested to see more about Fable, Playground Games has only made the Forza Horizon games. Seems like a pretty wild switch-up for them.
I’m wondering if that got misinterpreted between the gamer and Kotaku, it’s not in direct quotes so maybe she didn’t clarify if that 9.5 hours actually got her the full 1,000 points or she was more in the 700-800s for that game.
$500 is low, and not that much money given the score she obtained. I mean, I’m not going to spend $500 on mostly shovelware, but it’s not a staggering amount of money. She needed 132 games to get that score, she said about 60 of those were the sholveware indies, so even at $5/ea. that’s $300 just for half of those…
Shovel Knight did as well and they made a spinoff game during that time
It’s a $40 title, seems like they’re just taking the space part of Battlefront II and making a game out of it, with a small tacked-on campaign. So there’s not much to show aside from a single multiplayer match to really sell it. And it was likely inexpensive to make since the framework was there from BF2.
I feel like this falls in line more with the Battlefront I/II camp of “these aren’t the type of Star Wars games we want EA” rather than the lonely Fallen Order camp

I think the more realistic route with modern Disney is they let multiple major publishers handle the license. So for us, we still get a variety of teams under Ubisoft, EA, Activision, 2k, Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo, and maybe a few proven independent dev/pubs (people like Larian or CDPR). And for Disney, they don’t have…
3 years left on the deal, we’re kind of in an unfortunate position. The Battlefront games have sold well despite being a bit of a disappointment. They had a great critical and commercial success with Fallen Order last year and could win more fans over if this game turns out well.
Regardless of the resolution support in the original editions, I don’t find it acceptable to not support a wide variety of resolutions beyond 1080p. Most games can just have their .ini file edited to support it, it shouldn’t be hard to implement. Multi-monitor users especially know that when a game snaps to a lower…
