This article describes many things, I’m not sure which things you’re referring to. There’s no criticism of EGS if that’s what you’re after, but there is some legitimate criticism of Steam as there should be and always has been.

I think the amount of effort you’re putting in to silence any legitimate criticism of the Epic Game Store has gotten out of hand, but what are ya gonna do? 

Why does Valve not making games affect your ability to support the thousands of developers trying to make a living through Steam exactly? Why does Valve owe you games exactly? 

Key word there being virtual, not an actual monopoly. Nobody was stopping anybody from doing what Steam did. Epic didn’t even try to compete based on their revenue split angle on its own, they didn’t try to compete at all. They went straight for the exclusive grabbing.
