eh, you don’t actually pay for the service itself so if you can deal with opening up a second client (assuming you always have steam running) then it’s not really a problem.

*brofist*

One of the bigger takeaways I’ve had is that, despite getting booted a few times randomly, the experience is so much smoother than the early days of GTA:O. Granted, this probably was attained by the access rollout and barebones features, but it’s been a pleasant experience nonetheless.

The service sucks but just as a response to the blatant misinformation presented in the picture that for some reason you have to keep in your phone or you’d forget and then end up buying the service or something (??):

Not so much bad as it was just painfully mediocre.

I’ll take plain decals over the game’s name, or even worse, the trademark/copyright logo being slapped on the front of it.

proper fullscreen support, proper refresh rate support, refresh rate not being in the resolution options for some reason. maybe they’ve updated the full game by now.

Just an aside for anyone wondering, the PC version isn’t the greatest port in the world. Pretty barebones and downright confusing options, although I suppose the game is playable at the end of the day. There’s a demo to try on Steam at least. Pretty fun game, feels more at home on the Switch though.

Jackson: As I was watching this movie I had the thought that it’s like a Wes Anderson film, but very black and good instead of bad. No shade to Wes, but post Royal Tenenbaums he’s just had problems making a non-insufferable movie.

I don’t think this is being marketed to mainstream buyers. It was an obscure Wii U game that only tangentially connects to Mario that’s now been ported. Also mainstream buyers are starting to realize there’s better deals than the main storefront of a platform, especially with Amazon discounting nearly every game,

The price point is going to hold it back. Love the game, but it should’ve been $30 tops.

I don’t think I’ve ever been so directly on the fence about a game in a long time. I don’t see this game being a disaster, but I still can’t gauge whether this is a killer app or something that won’t even be worth borrowing from a friend.

Reminds me of the Halo 3 armor scam messages on Xbox live back in the day.

Have you noticed any chugging/slowdown during transitions? Almost every other outlet is reporting it with the Switch version, and it’s pretty much going to sway my decision about which platform I get it on.

It’s a year old, what are you on about?

Pixeljunk Monsters 2 is also for PC, and it is appropriately receiving mixed reviews.

Let’s not just blindly buy it. Square at least did IO the favor of selling them the franchise rights, and they were correct that it’s a big investment for a not-so-big IP when compared to their other franchises. Also WB just had the Shadow of War microtransaction issue.

It’s the week before E3, this is how it goes. We’ll see full gameplay next week.

With Lumines Remastered coming to Steam I think it’s just a matter of time before it comes to PC. Might not be on launch day but soon.
