Apparently none of these “fans” have ever heard of Mon Montha, Ahsoka Tano, Mara Jade or remembered anything that Leia or Padme did in past films. Fuck these man baby, fake fans.

There’s been so many different stories over the years that they all start to run together, too. I thought there was a Creature from the Black Lagoon remake with Scarlet Johansson that was supposed to be the next film after The Wolfman, but it may have been after Dracula Unbound. Or it may have been part of the current

Everything surrounding the Universal Monsters IP over the last three decades has been so convoluted and full of stops and starts that I don’t know if any of us in 100% correct on anything at this point.

I never read that before. I always assumed it was because of The Mummy remake.

True, but I’m pretty sure Kid Rock’s career ended ten years ago and here he is.

I guess I’m remembering that wrong. I thought I remembered that The Wolman was the first time they were talking about rebooting all of the Universal monsters and when it bombed, they decided to scrap it and then started over with Dracula Unbound.

Which has more life left in it’s career - Ringling Brothers or Kid Rock?

Dracula Unbound was the second or third attempt. The Benicio Del Toro Wolfman was also supposed to be a start and I think Van Helsing was, as well.

Because it’s an industry that focuses on boob physics?

I didn’t realize that David Byrne had a song about eating babies. He’s more versatile than I thought.

Yeah, I know I’m supposed to take all of these Alt-Right loons seriously, but how can I? Especially when giving him attention only bolsters his profile and increases his subscribers.

They’re two or three seasons too lat on that new showrunner plan. Also, congratulations to Gimple on making the Peter Principle work for him.

It will be nice to hear him talking about science again instead of pointlessly bitching about science fiction.

Got to shed a bunch of pop culture induced tears, this weekend. Finally worked up the courage to watch A Ghost Story, which was every bit the emotional gut punch I expected it to be. Saw The Shape of Water, which was just a beautiful, emotional and inspiring film. Also finally watched the final season of Halt and

I can’t be offended by American Horror Story, because it’s about the same as being offended by Marilyn Manson. The show is like watching a little kid trying it’s hardest to be offensive just to get attention. I get what you’re saying, though. The past few seasons have gone clownish to clueless.

Right. I think Murphy has been shown to be far more exploitative and in love with being offensive just for shock value than Tarantino, yet I don’t see anyone worried about what he’s going to do with the Johnny Versace murder.

Well, I’ve seen a lot of people online voicing their concerns about Tarantino exploiting these murders and causing pain to victims’ families, yet I haven’t heard a peep about American Horror Story recreating the Tate/Labianca murders in lurid detail and played almost as camp. I really don’t read concerns all that

Do you have these concerns every time a true crime film/TV show/book gets made? Just curious.

Taraji getting cast in the lead of an action film that could potentially lead to a franchise is enough for me to ignore the film’s flaws and give them my damn money.

It’s incredible that what you’re saying should be obvious, yet some people just can’t grasp the text. This was always supposed to be cringe humor and the bad behavior was always supposed to be something that you disagree with and anyone with any self awareness shouldn’t be acting that way. It’s also obvious that these
