I’ve been trying to hide this trailer from my wife. This looks like a movie that will just have her crying by the end of the movie and then bringing home a new kitten the next day.

Great trailer for what turned out to be just another derivative horror movie. An artistic cliche is still a cliche.

I have a weird affection for Sizzle Pie, particularly the one on the East Side. I’ll cab or Uber unless it’s a Doug Fir show. then I get to stumble. I keep hearing about Barlow. I need to check that place out.

Krispy Kreme is barely still around, too. I’m trying to use references that non-Oregonians could measure Voodoo against. There’s plenty of good, donut shops in Portland that are better than Voodoo and don’t require waiting in line for an hour or more to get them.

I totally get the appeal of stumbling out of Dante’s or Roseland and grabbing and drunkenly wolfing down bacon maple bar and that’s fine. I’ve just become really curmudgeonly about it somehow becoming the face of Portland. Plus, Sizzle Pie should always be your drunken, after show go to meal.

It’s such a bunch of trying too hard, faux edgy, though. It’s that 90's style, lowest common denominator, “look how offensive we are” type of edgy coupled with lazy, gross, “weird” recipes like putting bubble gum or Captain Crunch on top of a donut. Everything is outdated, stale and your Grandparents’ idea of what’s

I need to find that. I lover her even more, now.

It’s actually not even hipster. Voodoo is a shit hole tourist trap that serves mediocre donuts that aren’t even a match for Krispy Kreme or Dunkin. Portland. Hipsters go to Blue Star Donuts to pay $3 for a matcha tea donut.

Sorry. Kinja making responses not clear. I know he wasn’t a villain, I was asking if he also agrees. I’d also like to know what fellow (substitute) Legionnaire Porcupine Pete feels on the matter.

Wow. Things really have become so bad in the world that half the comments on a left-leaning site are sympathetic towards Mel Gibson who’s now considered “not that bad.”

What about Matter Eater Lad?

I don’t know that it’s 100% about Snyder as much as it’s about the DC fanboys who insist on their movies being grimdark and they know Snyder will accommodate that.

Why does fandom have to be so fucking embarrassing?

It’s possible that Dylan says inappropriate things all of the time and no one understands what he’s saying.

Yep. I got burned on the first game. No way was I giving them a second chance.

Bill was Hans Landa all along!

It just gets worse. I made it to the end of last season before I gave up. I keep reading the recaps this season in some hope I’m missing something, but it seems like I was correct to give up.

Anyone who spent money on the console version when they could see what had been done to the PC version was pretty foolish. This was obviously a cash grab from a terrible company to prop up a mismanaged game in it’s death throes.

“It feels like a relic of another era-”

Yeah, it’s really hard not to give into my urge of thinking these people who have constantly defended this sort of behavior (or are at least are fine with working for people who do) deserve to be on the receiving end of it. I must remind myself to be a better person, even if this is sort of the Nerf version of
