That sucks and your family is a bunch of mean meanie-heads. :(

"Manners? On Black Friday? Hmm, he must be up to something . . ."
Shifty-ass Canadians . . .
But who will they follow around the store if we don't show up?
I remember when I figured out how many calories were in a caramel mocha (from a local coffee stop, not Starbucks). I was completely shocked. I literally haven't had that specific drink in the 10 years since I saw the calorie count.
I hated cheesecake until, like, 3 years ago. Then magically I thought it was really good. It was a Christmas miracle!
If you're eating fast food for a treat night, you're not going to be watching your calories anyway....
But Heaven help you if you dare go off the Skinnylicious menu. I ordered something that I thought would have been marginally healthy (some sort of salmon) and it was like 1600 calories. It was the sauce, it's always the damn sauce.
I'm so glad that the FDA is mandating this. I am a committed calorie counter. The only way I've ever lost or maintained weight as an adult is through vigilant calorie counting.
I've never been followed before. I will try to make my posts worthy of being followed! :)
Oh, Sony . . . oh, Netherlands . . . so much disappointment.
What in the holy hell is this?? Is this in the US?
Holy fucking shit. That's terrible, all of it. Unfortunately, I'm sure those are just the highlights and there's so much more that went on.
I retract any uncharitable thought I may have had. This dude deserved everything you did that night and probably much, much more. That's for the additional info and I'm glad that…
eh, not that impressed. I guess I need to know a couple of things. How long had you known him and did you have any indication that he would deliberately pull a stunt like this?
Wait, QL is a lesbian? Is this an open secret kind of deal?
Okay, I was going to say that the only book I remember having a black main character and then "not doing anything with it" was Come a Stranger by Cynthia Voight. I just read the summary though and apparently racism was one of the themes. Ugh.
Holy crap, I just read the synopsis of Sounder. (I'm sure I read it was a kid but was a long time ago.) That is all kinds of depressing.
Yes, everything with black people just seems so . . . directed. Why can't there just be "normal" movies and books featuring black people without race being the major theme.
While I was glad to have a couple of books that featured black protagonists when I was a child, even then I took exception to the fact that they were all so heavy. Like, not every story about a black needs to be about them overcoming oppression or dealing with the Klan. I just wanted to read about a little girl…
