Its, uh, the younger alternate-reality version of Angel that Beast brought back from the past along the with rest of the original X-Men and then they all decided to stay because them being brought to their future only altered THEIR timeline but not the original timeline of the older X-Men.

Very cool episode. It says so much about the relationship between Bruce and Waller too. And Phantasm showing up again was just awesome.

I was really hoping for a Phantasm cameo at the end. I’d love to see DC do another Phantasm movie. Or a series of shorts accompanying all of their upcoming movies that chronicles Batman’s crimefighting career, ending with a reimagining of Batman: Beyond.
