I’m firmly in the camp that the former Hit King (long live Ichiro) doesn’t deserve to be in the HOF. He knowingly broke the actual written rule of betting on baseball and willingly agreed to the lifetime ban. An innoncent person wouldn’t accept a lifetime ban to avoid the results of the investigation. Its his bed, he

Unfortunately I think you know the answer to this. Unless they are children or some other form you are directly responsible for their care and well being, they have to be cut off.

I think I rent those on dollar beer bowling nights.

Like the commercial they had years ago where the guy who was clearly stoned was giggling at his car ornament talking to him in the drive thru.

Lets be friends.

Probably not. If Google Fiber can barely get off the ground, we’re pretty much fucked. Locally its just a pain in the ass to run the lines. In Austin, Google Fiber was contracting Time Warner Cable (Before the buyout) to have their construction team do the pole work.

Sure

It does, new non-sports loving friend!

All depends on where you live I guess. Sports is my one big passion, and I’ve struggled to find adult friends who like/care/watch as much as I do. Its either ‘casual fans’ who will occasionally watch a game, or guys who just dont watch at all. Then again Im the guy whos worshiping the color combinations while going

The biggest problem is the Thursday night games are generally utter crap. Even the best games are overall slop fests due to the limited recovery/game plan time between the Sunday and the Thursday games.

I dont think it was a coincidence Brown ended his holdout the week before the deadline, and his post McNair controversy comments were somewhere between truthful comments and trying to stamp his exit out of Houston. He just flat did not want to be in Houston anymore.

Agree to disagree here, but I took your original point of Kershaw throwing 1-4-7 as Darvish shouldnt have started a single game. Is that correct? Or are you saying after Game 3, Darvish shouldnt have started again?

A slider might be his best pitch, but he missed with everything. Yu could have adjusted away from the slider and just didnt.

Acouple of counter points here.

Houston was very fortunate to win Game 7 with the amount of traffic LA had through the early innings.

Game 1 had 11 batters reaching base either via hit or walk. The Astros ALONE walked 12 batters last night.

The only ‘ballpark’ HR that got hit was Correa’s, which is still amazing he hit it 320+ ft THAT high. Everything else is probably a HR at alot of stadiums with where they were hit. A big gap park probably holds Bellinger’s shot.

This is the same argument some Astros fans tried to make for Collin McHugh making the ALDS and future series roster and starting over Lance McCullers based on the fact McHugh finished the season well and Lance didnt coming off injury. Hinch looks like an absolute genius for that move now.

God damnit Yuli. Not cool.

I get it. I’m still just so hyped over that game that it was worth it for me to go back and see how Giles pitched that last inning and where his locations/pitch types sat.
