"You had me at 'Hello, Charles'"
The Master and the Doctor, especially as portrayed by David Tennant and John Simm.
I volunteer to rub Neosporin on his chest.
Yeah, but you don't see Mary Shelley turning up in science fiction all the time.
"You know what would make my derivative idea for a horror story fantastic? If H.P. Lovecraft found out that monsters were real! Again!"
And again. And again.
HITLER. Seriously, bored to death with the Hitler. I feel like someone else in history has probably done an atrocity, but you wouldn't know it from any trips around the block in Sci-Fi.
Hands down, my favorite companion. Amy Pond was just eye candy in the scheme of companion awesomeness.
Each time I go into The Library... I have to try and control my tears. It's always awkward at checkout.
Started off as the worst companion ever.
Ok you guys, I thought of one that's not from Buffy.

It IS ridiculous that we're still not on the metric system. I'm on a fitness site and there was a request yesterday for food database entries to be based on weight, not description ("a large slice of pizza," "a small apple"), and shown in grams.
Would love one which takes metric into consideration as well. All of my cookbooks are from back home but everything here in the UK is sold in grams. The first time I tried making chocolate chip cookies which called for a stick of butter I tried carving the giant block of butter I had into what I thought from memory…
