I get what you’re saying and everything but in most of those cases you’re talking about people who led political movements. We can’t throw out what MLK did and I’m guessing the British aren’t coming back to India or the US any time soon to take things over.

We measure the weight and severity of alleged rape against the damage it would do the accused’s life and achievements to acknowledge, but we never even consider what life and what achievements it robbed of the victim. Never.

$16 an hour to start and that's good wages for a lot of people so don't even go there.

That’s a really good point about Monica hurting Hillary with the affair that strangely I’ve never thought of. Why do we expect Hillary to have treated Monica well instead of behaving like a hurt human being? I absolutely think many other people involved treated Monica poorly so that Monica could be the scapegoat for

I find it really ridiculous and shitty to paint Hillary as a terrible person for not wanting to believe her husband is a rapist. How many women are cheated on, lied to, abused, humiliated, and hurt by their husbands and don’t leave? How many women have blamed the other woman when her husband cheats? I’d guess

Yeah. I don’t know what did or didn’t happen, but if Starr — of all people — let it go, that’s pretty compelling.

It’s puzzling that so many people are angrier at Hillary than at the man actually accused of rape. And that includes the alleged victim.

It’s puzzling to me how many people are acting like this is new information. Or like Hilary Clinton is somehow more responsible for Bill Clinton’s behavior than Bill Clinton is.

Ken Starr would’ve had an orgasm if there’d been the least little thing about Broaddrick’s story he could’ve used. And if there had been anything, Starr would’ve found it.

Same.

You basically have to believe that Bill told Hillary that he raped a woman, to believe that Hillary intimidated Broaddrick. And then you also have make additional leaps as to why Bill’s actions are Hillary’s fault. And then it gets more confusing since Broaddrick seems more focused on Hillary than Bill.

If Ken Starr didn’t bite on it, it’s probably a nothingburger.

I’m not going to make a claim about mental illness. That said, I do think that the idea that Bill went home and told Hillary he raped a woman is preposterous. Frankly, I can’t see him going home and telling her he slept with another woman. All we know Hillary did was to thank Ms. Broaddrick for doing “something” for

Well, even if a man rapes a woman, it's not his fault. Blame his wife!!

All I know is I will NOT be voting for Bill Clinton this November.

I have no idea if Broaddrick’s allegations are true or not, but her story is credible enough, and should be treated with sensitivity and seriousness.

I don’t know if Bill Clinton raped her or not, but I do find it odd that she seems to focus so much on ruining Hillary’s career over the issue. Her evidence that Hillary even would have known about the incident is shaky at best - Hillary shook her hand and said thank you, in what was perceived to be a menacing tone?

So, Bill Clinton raped a woman and then went home and told his wife? I feel that Juniata Broaddrick has suffered much in her life, primarily with mental illness.

Yep! Chill out, y’all. It’s a potluck not a state dinner. I don’t really care if you bring store-bought brownies or if the entree you made is Shake n Bake chicken. One friend brings wine to most dinners. That’s great. When she hosts, she has pizza delivered. It’s absolutely fine. Nobody cares. We all eat, drink, and

Yeah, I’ve done my fair share of potlucks, and it was always understood the host provided the main entree, and everyone else divvied up sides/salads/desserts. Our groups have included everyone from trained chefs to “my oven is for storage” types. It’s a party, not a competitive sport. If you’re judging, you probably
