It could be the last system update but issues with the network itself or local ISP can also be the culprit. That’s the downside to always being online nowadays. Wouldn’t be surprised if going offline made things better for some.
We can always point to the PS4 sharing video that we were technically given the right to pass the property over to an interested party haha

Pretty sure the service is just about renting performance through the cloud. The demo they showed still required him to login under steam in order to play the games he already owned.
This is NOT like Netflix. What you’re paying for is performance through the cloud. It’s more like borrowing a computer. The virtual machine accesses your preexisting accounts and plays the games you own.
