Yeah, I smiled when I read that tidbit. I feed 3 feral cats (and a very Scrappy possum) who live in my neighborhood and it’s an expense I wasn’t anticipating. Now I’m gearing up to try and trap, neuter or spay and release them. Good on her for doing right by cats with her resources.
