Stop telling people so much about my life! I made this “resolution” back in 2006, and broke it three minutes later. I tell everyone everything about myself. Want to talk about my bipolar dad? Great! Sit down, you’ll be here for a while. They’re not even interesting stories really, I just have to tell everyone

I drank A LOT of vodka in a dorm and then I threw up. That counts as sloppy!

YAY I WAS PUBLISHED ON JEZEBEL! All that throwing up and vodka was worth it for this moment! (It was not.)

One of these boxes is just down the hill from my house, we drop stuff off a couple times a week when we’re walking the dogs.

*tucks all of you in, forehead smooches*

Hey, I’m staying with my parents..it has been six months. They are both very ill, so...but today dad said something pretty awesome ( he has dementia) He told me he heard a new word on NPR. “Didn’t” The cool new word he reported was DIDN'T. He shook his head in wonder and disbelief at this astounding developement.

I don’t have any family left.

My parents have been dead for many years and I would love to have just five minutes with them.  When I was younger, I found them annoying.  I feel differently now.

This also works for parenting.

Late to the party, which fits the theme.

That was a fun, well-written ride. +1 popped bottle.

Thank you so much! I need to get back to writing my blog. I was on a roll for a while but my Mom passed away and things became very hectic the last few months. I really appreciate the encouragement.

I DID IT! And it was super fun. I didn’t bring down the house or anything but people laughed and clapped. The guys there were all hardcore stand ups, but they invited me to join their Facebook group, gave me some advice and told me about some other places I could perform at. I told them this was basically just a whim b

So my senior year of college a lot of my friends came to my hometown of NYC for new years and were sleeping at my home. I was really excited to spend time with my friends and as I had never really had an eventful new years before was happy to have been invited to a few parties. We decided to go to two of the parties

YOU CAN DO IT!

It’s not sloppy unless there’s crying, blood and....grapes?

NYE used to be my favorite holiday - we spend it with friends doing a sort of small-dish cook-off, there is a lot of drinking, we go outside at midnight and druknenly sing - and it’s a beautiful way to ring in the new year. Someone always goes too wild, but whatever we’re among friends!

Last year was “sloppy” though -

OMG! OMG! OMG! I was first! I’d like to thank the Jezcademey! And the turkey grease! And oh they’re playing me off....

And it worked!
