I have five years worth of Seventeens from the late-80's, early 90's from when I had a subscription. I kept them all! And I totally know the School Zone. I always wanted to be a part of it!

Only in the US. Check out mags like Frankie, Russh, Love, Lula...they all have minimal text on the covers. Our mags look like Crazy Eddie commercials.
How about they also chill out with too much text on the covers? They look freaking awful. What happened to less is more, like this?
Difference here? Sex & the City was actually funny. I couldn't relate to those women in any way. I didn't date rich men, I am about 15 years younger than they are, I never wore designer clothing. (I did live in NY, however, and even then, I was actually in Brooklyn where they'd never go.) But damn if that show didn't…
I watched the first two episodes and was disappointed, particularly in the second because I couldn't believe they did the typical abortion cop-out like they do on all the TV shows.
I'm going to try to pretend I didn't just watch that by watching this one instead. Rihanna, leave the sexy, hot as all hell dancing to those who know what they're doing.
Because Zooey-bashing is a sport over here.
Rosanne is just loudly vocalizing what the rest of us nobodies have been saying since this whole faux controversy errupted last week. I'm glad someone said it, frankly.
I'm bothered more by the fact that they are all so similar-looking (at least in this poster, I haven't seen the show). Styled so similarly, especially the hair and make-up. A little diversity here, hello?
"Oscar Producer's Cousin" would be my moniker.
David Mamet is kind of a legend in the theatrical world. Conversely, I think "Bad Company's drummer's daughter" is a bit pushing it.
...
I kind of figured the "29" age mentioned in the article was a lie. She's been around the publishing world for too long to be that young.
Real life manic pixie dream girl.
Sedgwick had better outfits, too.
How does someone like her get a job with an assistant who will write her personal emails for her?
Mila and Justin's version was so far superior too. I couldn't get through 30 minutes of that crapfest starring Kutcher and Portman. So Mila wins.
I didn't go to either prom, junior or senior. I didn't regret it then and I especially don't care now, 15 years later.
Truer words were never spoken.
"90s style was about individuality and dressing to suit yourself"
