I went bananas over Rose Byrne's outfit. I admit that I didn't even recognize her at first with her new 'do but she really stood out (I love that the jumpsuit is from an Elie Saab collection from three years ago). If I ever went to a red carpet event, I'd definitely pick out something like that.

Most of his videos from that period resulted in him copying elements from MJ and Janet's "Scream" (also see TLC's "So Scrubs"). He wanted to work with MJ so badly (and never did) that he just ended up using that clip as an influence. Granted "Scream" was pretty influential in its day but no one copied it more than…

It's interesting, I was flipping through an old Seventeen magazine from about 1993 or so and there were articles about PM Dawn and Digable Planets (from the same issue, no less) and it just makes me miss the mid-90's positive/ spiritual hip hop/ r&b vibe.

When I first started blogging, I used Blogger briefly and I hated it. Now my blog is self-hosted using Wordpress and I love it. I would say it helps to know your HTML because it gives you more flexibility when designing and customizing your layout.

I always preferred the JMZ anyway. It takes you straight into the LES from Williamsburg. SO underrated.

The Jackson men were so effed up when it came to women. The amount of cheating that went on amongst all the brothers with their wives (not including Michael) is astounding. Papa Joe was a great role model. The more you read about the fam, the more it seems like Michael was the normal one.
