Annie Lennox.

The problem most people have with her (myself included) is that she has sort of annointed herself as the queen of the outcasts when in fact, she grew up priveledged; she acts like she is this revolutionary artiste when in fact, her music is mainstream Top 40; and she copies other entertainers but doesn't ever

"getting dressed for a date are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS. Problem solved. "

Yeah, at first I had a problem with the cute girl living with three guys and none of them fall for her. But after watching it, I buy into it a little more and I can see how the types of guys she is living with might not be into her. Especially the douche. Zooey is kind of an off-beat, nerdy hipster whereas her roomies

Meh, I don't think she is a great actress but I enjoyed her in this show and I do like her a lot otherwise.

I am always fascinated by movie magic stories like this. And also, they got the original sneakers for the film to light up by placing a 3 lb battery into MJF's back pocket attached to wires that ran down his jeans into the shows. I feel that in an age of CGI, all of that cool innovation is lost since it can all be

I'm hearting you just because you are my hero in this thread and you have said everything that is in my head right now.

I truly believe that Stephen Colbert needs to be eligible for a best actor Emmy. And also, I have a feeling a lot of the Emmy voters don't "get" him. I know plenty of people who don't.

Are we really going *here* again?

I work in fashion (stylist and editor) and that is exactly what I thought too. Snooze. Just sayin'.

I think you need an additional category beside Good, Bad, Ugly.

I'm sure Penny won't be having an abortion, they'll definitely write that out.

I watched Jude Law's "Alfie" a few weeks ago and frankly, I pleasantly surprised that the character who had gotten accidentally impregnated by her boyfriend's friend got an abortion. But then, at the end of the film, it's revealed that she didn't go through with it. I was so full of "boo".

HA! I should have read downthread before posting up above because "Fast Times" is the movie I mentioned too. There was also "Dirty Dancing" but somehow, I don't feel like it counts.

When was the last on-screen modern-day abortion..."Fast Times at Ridgemont High"?

Huh. I've actually done this for a couple of people in the UK, one for a pair of Adidas and another for something at Urban (just people I randomly knew via my blog). And I never asked for any money from them for the "service". I guess I've been doing it wrong!

Don't forget BHLDN! And seriously, I didn't even know what that was, I was like, "BUILDING"??? No, Beholden is what I was told. Add some freaking vowels, won't ya?!!!

I routinely go into the Anthro flagship here in Philly and have been getting their catalogs for years — all of which I use as inspiration to recreate their faux DIY, artsy-craftsy houseware on my own.

Yeah, I am surprised at how quickly the mothers are willing to turn their kids over to these two. The Clarks do seem creepy even if they do work with legit agencies. Ha, how many predators do you think were watching this show last night and got some new ideas on how to hunt?

The Clarks aren't Barbizon modeling school and as far as I can tell, the girls aren't paying them anything to go through the model boot camp. The Clarks only make money if the model starts working. And while the model is working, she pays back the money that the Clarks have fronted (as well as the agency). It's like
