I think you might be right, but the eyeless woman wasn't the actress who played Josie at least. Phoebe Augustine (Ronette) is definitively the one who spoke to Coop in that space though, although she's credited as American Girl…

Actually, I think the eyeless woman might be a different character than Ronette, who was also in there but speaking lodge speak (or rather, the actress named in credits as American Girl?). I'll have to rewatch it later in the week.

"Who was she? Where did she come from?"

She did, but it's been 25 years I guess. Also, since there are dopplegangers a plenty in the Black Lodge. I'm pretty sure it was Ronette's actress in the part.

"Also- the space that Coop visited before his return, with the asian woman"

He's not stupid, he's spent 25 years in an alternate reality. He's shellshocked, essentially.

I was about to point that out - it's labeled as a "Special Presentation / Bonus Episode" in Fox's press release. Since Fox got rid off American Dad I guess they had to have a new red-headed step-child to mess around with.

I'm not sure you'd want Freddie to be like Norman Bates…

There's an episode (maybe one of those you mention) where Peggy all of a sudden becomes domestic and Al suddenly wants to bang her. There's also an episode where Peggy disguises herself (which is Katey Segal sans Peggy Bundy wig) and takes up dancing at the "nudie bar".

Well, considering she was supposed to be a love interest to Bud (David Faustino, 1974), it makes sense I guess… still she looked older than 13-going-on-14.

Yeah, they did a meta episode about Psycho Dad being cancelled too after protests from Marcy's feminist group.

God damn it, I never realised the cheekiness of the name Liv Moore. I feel officially dumb.

That's a fair assumption, could also be that they had the season scripted out and knew they were going to use scenes from later episodes?

Is Jane supposed to be a mega-talented writer? She writes romance novel fluff, the sort that gets sold in the check-out counter at the supermarket. Entertaining to the audience she caters to, sure, but Toni Morrison she ain't.

Going by production codes, Cricket's Tale was actually the first one produced for this season.

I knew what the bike would be the minute they mentioned, but I still lost it and went "eew" at the same time. Even I have limits when it comes to bum fun.

With Crazy Ex only having 13 episodes this season probably gave her time over to do other things. They probably wrapped their season in December.

I must be in the minority here, but maybe because my parents used to play that Sherry song a lot, his bits were my favourites.

Golden Globe hype. It was for like one week.

It seems like girl power might be the theme of this season - Heather / Rebecca living together, Paula being preggers + law school and then Valencia eating CARBS next week omg
