Of course!

My husband actually said that line to Fred Phelps. True story.

Hermione Farthingale.

The first few episodes I thought that Chris O'Dowd kinda ruined things. He was very broad and just yelled a lot. Once he improved (and improve he did), the show picked up quite a bit. It overall became less broad with less generic IT jokes and the like. I don't know if you'll end up liking it, but I started out

Oh, is that how to describe it? Yay! Thanks! Yes, it is that, and stuff like how "phoning a cab" just isn't common phrasing, at least in my neck of the woods. (I just googled the phrase and it was mostly links to the "Queen Bitch" lyrics, so that's probably the case in several necks)

It's possible the riff isn't helping, but to be honest, I don't think the riffs really sound all that much alike. I can see what you're saying about similar forms and I can definitely hear some similarities, but that's not the part I'll hear in the background and think "Oh, cool. They're actually playing 'Queen

Aw, yay. There is at least one other person who agrees with me!

The problem is that I don't really have the music vocabulary to describe it. As I understand the word "riff" I don't believe that's what I'm talking about. That's just the catchy guitar part, right?

I really think "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers is a big damn rip off of Bowie's "Queen Bitch," but literally no one has ever agreed with me so I fear I may be mad.

I was very sad that Bricker did not have a valet played by David Tennant.

Ha, I was also thinking that about fourth baby. "Aww… Victor's mom keeps having unwanted pregnancies! How cute! I guess!"

I think he meant "Cosby in America, like Savile in the UK, was a much beloved figure who was considered to be 100% harmless, and, as such, their public personas made it very difficult for the allegations to stick." At least I hope so. No point in arguing over which rape is worse rape.

I don't understand. The only guy's butt you see in "The Room" is Tommy Wiseau, and he's American…

If they don't put it on the list, we can try to fix it by saying another mass.

It's about time, too. Julia's always been my favorite Braverman so I'm glad to see her back on an upswing. I mean, the show's ending, so I'm not surprised, but still.

Hmm. I guess she tried to buy the baby late season 3. I thought it was more recent then that. It was the baby of that woman with the coffee cart in her office. Julia kinda talked her into letting her adopt it but she got really pushy and micromanaging and insulted her by offering her a bunch of money at one point so

I used "mess" specifically because that was what the comment I was responding to used. But, I mean, she got in trouble for trying to buy a baby at work (!), got fired, had a very difficult time bonding with Victor, was unable to find a new job for long enough that she had kind of a breakdown, then her husband left her

I thought Julia's made sense for her. "Don't give up your own dreams." She's got a very time-consuming job that she's perfect for, but there was a lot of external pressure for her to give it up and be a stay-at-home mom (from the other moms in the first season). But she's happier when she works so she has to tune that

Yeah, it's not great when they introduce people the main cast finds horrible, and they're far more palatable than the main cast.

Ah. Personally, I find the crime bad enough that finishing out his (probably ridiculously tiny) sentence should he choose to return to the US is totally fair to me. That, and I'm not convinced she's his only victim. It's known he slept with Nastassja Kinski when she was 14, others have accused him, and frankly, the
