You can consider us having noticed sure. The tech-savvy Giz readers who are considerably more conscious of these things then your average American. Although it sucks to admit it - he's right. The general public is too self-absorbed too notice - most of the general public is dumb too. Everyone knows it. Everyone thinks

Someone call the beard police

@MrBrutesnipe: SO apart from films with cgi (all of them), sports, action films....well I'd say you have a fair amount there. You can add the superior sound quality if you've ever watched anything music related on blu ray. Also of course, nature programmes. Discovery channel etc.

@alwayslost01: There's loads of people in the same situation as you too. Me for one...out where I live it wont be years if not longer, when they finally decide to bring fast internet round. Until then I rely solely on physcial media and until I have lightning fast broadband speeds, its not going to change.

I guess the government pays well for private information.

@branchan: Well, its not the same though. Say other hobbies, expensive equipment is essential to be good at it. You're not going to be taking consistently great pictures say without a pricey DSLR and that pricey photoshop set up. Plus lens' etc. So to be good at photography and take good pictures which is your hobby

It might not be restricted to just Michelin starred kitchens any more, but to get all the proper equipment etc. it is very price restrictive. Unless food is your life and youre happy with spending thousands of dollars on equipment, the ordinary person isnt ever going to partake in "Molecular Gastronomy".

@Sunsparc: I know what you mean - im with you on this one.

Rim-light.

Long Speech is long

@muvolt: Nothing wrong. It's what I do. Got a cheap HDMI cable - $15 or so and I just have that coming out of my TV. Whenever I want to watch something....netflix, hulu - wtv - I just plug my laptop into that and I'm good to go. Works fantastic and it's inexpensive.

Is that a cheeky Office Space reference in there?

@reader: I think you will find that, since Jobs is a God, there is no gender.

@basselope: Perhaps, but at the end of the day I'll have some form of dedicated server which is more than I got with MW2. Like I said, this is better.

@Barman1942: Right, but it's not Treyarch's fault for the direction MW2 took with dedicated servers.

@OMG! FriedPeeps: You know...I really dont see why anyone would want to buy a shuffle anymore, bar pricing. I mean the nano is the same size as the shuffle. Whole purpose of the shuffle was the tiny size of it, great for jogging, its discreet etc. Nano is the same size but much more capable. Just get that instead..no?
