Obviously we need diversity in the games industry because somehow the outfits will be better at award shows no one cares about

One time, I had a room filled with barrels containing high-proof mushroom hooch, you know, separated from my room filled with pre-packaged mushroom and monster meat casseroles. The dragon that I had caught in a trap and painstakingly ‘tamed’, which had immolated dozens of outside invaders in defense of our dorffort,

The number of people happily paying $30 for it would seem to complete invalidate your premise, but you do you!

I hate the mentality of people who think that being skeptical makes them seem clever or smart. I’m all for skepticism, but as seen here, more recently, it’s been used to try to and “find the truth” behind the most inane, innocuous things

A wholesome story. Slow cook, amateur game, supported over years of development by a loyal, cult following, who a.) rallied to support the developers in a time of crisis and b.) now want to buy the long-building, overhauled, full version for - let’s be honest - a modest price? Don’t tell me gamers are toxic. Trolls

I agree with your stance much more than the kotaku review. This has been one of the most fun pokemon games to me as well, even while also being the most broken.

Chris Pratt’s Mario voice continues to be absolutely terrible. Everything else about this movie looks great, though.

NONE?? Jack Black is absolutely killing it here, and for my money, seems to be carrying the whole movie on his performance. Based on a total of 5 minutes of trailers, sure. But still haha.

I’m mostly there with you on that, but Jack Black’s Bowser is surprisingly great. It sounds like he’s actually playing Bowser rather than just doing Jack Black things.

The movie in itself looks good but the voices are not it...like even my love for Anya Taylor-Joy is not enough to tell me that her voice was a match for Peach...

NONE of the voice talent is doing it for me.

“There’s no reason the Mario Kart scene had to also reference Mad Max-style vehicles.”

...well, the good news is that Chris Pratt as Mario isn’t quite as distracting as I imagined, at least in the limited doses we’re getting in this trailer.

Pratt’s still the weakest part of a better-looking trailer. Disappointingly, Charlie Day isn’t much better. I was hoping for more there.

Still confused on chris pratt, especially since they seem to have him using marios catch phrases anyway.

Sales are literally the only thing that matter. What’s the incentive to spend all that time and money improving things when they can just... not do that and still be rewarded with the fastest selling game yet?

I remember my first console controller—the polished black batwing I used to steer my Xbox 360—as vaguely sticky.”

Don’t forget the 3/4 page forced video that auto loads and plays. This website has been jank for years now.

Nintendo only owns 1/3 of TPC, which is the same as GameFreaks 1/3.

Jesus Christ, this website reloaded like 8 times on mobile, talk about jank. Anyways, it’s going sell gangbusters because we can’t have nice things.
