I don't get Dorne at all- especially when they cut Arriane. Could they not have cut Sand Snakes, teamed Arriane up with Elaria and have had some sort of discussion about seeking Danaerys out, continuing to trim fat but keep characters where they can draw stuff from the books. Because when they just totally make stuff

Joffrey is off her list when she recited it earlier in the season. Arya knows he's dead.

I wanted actual Val. But when I saw "Wildling Woman" was cast, it alleviated some of my disappointment. And she was awesome but then they killed her. So now I'm disappointed twice.

And he cried a single tear.

You mean Val, whose chillness and subtle humour I miss quite a lot. Dalla is Mance Rayder's wife who dies in child birth and Val is her sister. But yeah, I was sad about Karsi. She made a major impression in only a few minutes.

Seriously. Littlefinger's end game is for Stannis and the Boltons to fight it out, and he swoops in. Sansa has nothing to do with it. He doesn't need her for them to fight.

I don't see why the "fake Arya" stuff wouldn't work on screen. We, the readers, always knew it wasn't really Arya 1. She's in Braavos 2. Theon says to himself "that's Jeyne Poole" when he sees her.

John Snow did know something. Jon Snow, no, he knows nothing.

The only thing that bugs me really about it is that the Winterfell/Theon bits of the book are the most successful parts. And I kind of like Manderly, too. And it connects it back to the Starks. I dunno. I'm not crushed.

Yeah, maybe. But he broke up with her pretty hard after the girl on a horse in the snow wasn't Arya. Mel told him to keep his wolf nearby around that time, something he completely ignored.

cause he was all occupied having sex with his neighbour in the hedge maze.

he was hilarious….very charming.

I'm pretty sure it was a scorpion in blood. Scorpions in art/myth usually is death or sex, which fits. The witches talked about taking out Vanessa's protectors (since Ethan was with her in the carriage, I assume they mean him.) It might mean one of the witches will try to seduce Ethan in order to kill him.

She for sure says it in the book to him. She also appears as Ygritte at one point. Mel never openly tries to seduce Jon in the book (at least so far) but the hints of it are for sure there.

I also remember reading somewhere that Aerys (crazy, paranoid) thought his son Rhaegar was going to try to over throw him. And that maybe Aerys was right to be paranoid because the tourney at Harenhal was actually meant to be a place to plan a coup (all the major houses were there.) And Aerys decided to attend it at

Basically, they never said "Hey, we love each other!" because there wasn't time. They left together for parts unknown (the Tower of Joy is in Dorne, so they ended up there.) Rhaegar left her at one point (with his King's Guard) when shit really hit it. He gets killed by Robert Baratheon at the Trident and she dies

They showed Theon's dick and then it got cut off. I guess that's our lesson.

Melisandre is trying to seduce Jon Snow because that's how she operates in the show world. It's a power play. And I suspect she suspects (knows?) he's got king's blood.

It's not a huge thing. It's not like he wouldn't lift a finger. But Sansa was the only Stark kid that really echoed her mother's sentiments about Jon in the book. They have a very stand off relationship in the book and the show never established any kind of connection between them (as it did with Arya, Robb and Bran.)

I'm actually a little surprised (maybe surprised is the wrong word) that Littlefinger didn't make Sansa Fake Arya. Making her "Arya" eliminates her pesky marriage to Tyrion (though no one really seems to think that's an issue) and hides her from Cersei (who in the books is really actively sending assassins around to
