I was also thinking that Peggy, of the SCDP middle management crew, is the only one who didn't see Lane hanging from his door. Harry, Ken, Pete, Joan, Roger, Don and Bert were all involved. But yeah, bad, bad vibes. They should've just used that room for office furniture storage.

Marrying one of these guys off to Alys Karstark is going to be fun. "I'm going to eat your papa. And then I'm going to eat your mama…."

The "Joan is a racist" stuff from earlier seasons always seemed completely overblown to me. I always took that comment she makes to Kinsey's girlfriend as having nothing to do with Joan's feelings about black people but 100% about her desire to cut Kinsey down to size.

Dany kept Jorah around because, like many women, she likes the way he says "Khaleesi"

The actor that played BabyBjorn looked more like Winnick, and this one is a good mix (he carries himself like Ragnar.) In general, it's excellent casting. Both guys look like the product of Fimmel and Winnick.

This show is so beautifully shot, it's unbelievable. The music, the costumes, the hair- it's all amazing.

It's totally that. It's a "this is what's going to happen to you if you don't fight better, little boy" thing.

He might just be detoxing from booze, which makes you sweaty, shaky and anxious. I say "just" but it's a pretty taxing and terrible thing to do.

As for the Megan/Manson murders stuff, I don't know how it will play out. It might just be that those murders act as some sort of catalyst for Megan to end the marriage, sort of like the Kennedy assassination did for Betty.

Also when Betty wore the lingerie when they stayed at the Plaza for Valentine's and Don couldn't get it up. So she watched Jackie give a tour of the White House on TV.

There was something kind of Old World about Rachel (perhaps because she's Jewish) and yes, melancholic sophistication is a perfect description. It seems they were trying to recreate her in Megan- French (well, French Canadian, which isn't the same thing, Weiner) rather than Jewish and a little wistful/arty. I maybe

I can't believe Megan was compared to Rachel Menken in this review. She and Don have absolutely no chemistry. Rachel and Don sizzled. Nice car/ outfits, though. (Though wouldn't her poor friends judge her on her green convertible? Was it a rental?)

I laughed when Ragnar told Bjorn to think with his head. Yeah.

Also missing was Oberyn's story about meeting baby Tyrion and being disappointed he didn't have the rumoured tail. Elia cooed over him and Cersei, while saying he was hers, twisted his penis until Jamie made her stop. I always enjoyed that little story.

SPOILER Littlefinger telling Lysa he always loved Cat before shoving her out the door, followed by a shot of Stoneheart (one of the grotesque results of Littlefinger's desire for chaos) would be quite bad ass.

It is definitely after Ned is killed and Robb raises an army. In ASOS, Jon shows up after escaping from the wildings, filled with arrows and feverish. Aemon, while treating him, tells him about Bran/Rickon and Winterfell being burned. Jon can't really ride at that point and the wildings attack the Wall not long after,

I rather like the "Oberyn arrived ahead and went to the whore house. Go fetch him." job for Tyrion because that's exactly how he himself was introduced in the show.

A great Tyrion moment is when he sees the reforged sword given to Joffrey and thinks he should've sent Ice to Robb after Ned was killed.

I seem to recall in book world, Slynt is the response to the Lord Commander's request for more help that happened in the first book (where they tried to send the wight's hand.) The message got to the Lannisters and the response was sort of "Eff it, send Slynt." And they might've convinced Slynt to go by saying "you
