If a comedian, or anyone in the arts industry who is making work and putting it the public sphere, can’t take criticism they’re in the wrong line of work. Especially if they’re a comedian who complains about how everyone is too sensitive, but loses it any time someone has feedback. Time to put on your big boy bloomers

I didn’t know simple criticism is a call for a “slap down”. If one cannot take even a teeny bit of criticism without going into a rampage, one should probably take therapy or find a new line of work.

the fragility of men’s egos cause a lot of problems in this world.

Also, I hate to go into snark, but you answered your own question. “Rarely the one making misogynist jokes” does make one a misogynist.

“Would you expect her to avoid criticizing him if their number of followers were reversed?”

Women accidentally swears in a sketch, canned that night.

Imagine spending your life telling on people online. If that doesn’t make you wanna deepthroat a .45 then you can’t be helped.

What a toolbag.

He does. Follow his instagram. His stories are 100% attacking people who send him DMs criticizing him. It’s a bit much, honestly, and I like him.

Women aren’t allowed to make mistakes. Men (especially white men, and yes I’m aware of this comic’s race but let’s face it, white dudes get away with literal murder) are given endless breaks.

“sometimes i forget that i belong to all of you now, and that any thought i have should be filtered through you, and receive ur approval.”

So, SNL co-head writer has pattern of harrassing and intimidating women online = Fine.

Jesus, Che is petty. In one of the first emails referenced, he wrote without capitalization, then added a post-script: “my refusal to capitalize or correct the grammar of my language of this message is a deliberate informality and disrespect.” Sounds like a better educated Trump.

Same. I was ready to like his special but was kind of turned off by the end of it

I liked him on the SNL news segment, but then I started to follow him on Instagram and watched his stand-up. Ugh, he’s not for me. Comes off as a total jerk.

I am so amused at how he thinks it’s super insulting to call a blogger a “nerd.” It’s like he’s saying, “Nuh uhhh....you’re just not dumb enough to think I’m funny!”

Something messy about setting up Google Alert when you’re famous. Bringing in a lot of unneeded stress.
