fuck that’s spot on

Liev Schreiber is definitely the type of person who interjects conversations with “Oh, you need x/y/z? Because I got a guy.”

Could they not find a pic of her that didn’t include some random woman’s boob in the foreground?

Yeah I knew this was going to come up as an issue - age discrimination. I knew the 18 to 20 year olds were going to say....but, but, but not all of us are crazy lunatics who are going to go shoot up our old high schools, so you can’t take away all of our guns. Not sure how Dick’s or Walmart is going to get around

1. She was a part-time nanny, so she was not working 40 hours a week.
2. Mrs. Krim was a stay at home mother, and was around most of the time. Ortega wasn’t raising the kids. She was there to lend a hand.

She expects her son to attend private school while she works as a part-time nanny. Who is to say that after giving her this bonus, she wouldn’t then expect to live in a 4-bedroom apartment in a luxury building/lease a luxury car/make other financial decisions incompatible with her work situation? Are the Krims on the

It is ok for you to locate their kids now and stab them to death, I suppose.

So we are supposed to throw money at any employees who need more money just because? Otherwise they can slaughter our kids?

Other people have responded to you. She was not underpaid. I say this as someone who spent summers nannying for the same kind of people. I worked (full time as opposed to Yoselyn Ortega’s part time) and made the same amount. And Mrs. Krim was there a majority of the time. Yoselyn Ortega was a glorified mother’s helper.

NOTHING excuses her for murdering kids. NOTHING.

Yeah...if it’s at the expense of being able to have someplace to live and food to eat, absolutely.

There’s no hard and fast evidence that the Krims were bad employers, though other than statements from Ortega. Wanting someone to actually work for the extra pay that you’re giving them doesn’t make a person a bad employer. Neither does not having a great deal of sympathy when an employer lands in a tight spot. The

I thought she was working only part time hours and made $500 a week. That’s $25 an hour, assuming part time means 20 hours a week. That is definitely not being overworked and underpaid for a nanny. Are families supposed to pay over $24,000 a year for part-time childcare to not be considered “cheap”?

Go tell your boss you need extra money but you don’t want to do anything for it. Come back and let us know how that goes.

They didn’t give her a handout so she killed their kids. Lol k.

I’m also thinking that the prosecution may even bring it up as evidence of motive. Either way if there was any mistreatment by the Krims it would have been brought up during Mrs. Krim’s testimony, which already occurred.

She was their employee, not a family member or friend, why the fuck should they have to offer her money for nothing? Especially if she was making poor financial decisions. I would never expect my boss to hand me money for no reason.

They don’t owe her anything, but they’re not good employers because they did not give her extra money as a courtesy?

I heartily agree. I am an ICU nurse of many years. I was a travel nurse as well and have worked at many hospitals across the country. I dealt with victims and perpetrators of cases involving adults and children, and listened to all manner of excuses why they did something, why something happened—all related to not

Why should an employer just give you extra money? Does your employer do that? And how does having a shitty employer justify you brutally MURDERING their children instead of looking for a better job? Holy shit. You are a piece of work.
