Why don’t you just buy the non-AWD version, and get an AWD badge from the parts desk, and stick it on there? Take the money you save and buy a set of high-quality snow tires.

Having rented my fair share of FWD Chevy Acadia, I second your wife’s insistence for AWD. So, first off, get this:
ahhhh, my wife and I chose kids over dogs. Our two boys (ages 7 and 8) need more space than a greyhound. Genetics is playing a role. I’m 6'6" and she is 6'0". But despite us being freakishly tall, it still is sorely lacking in luggage capacity.
Get the dealers out of the way and a reasonable lead time might become possible.
Callooh! Callay!
The reason I suspect it won’t work though is the same reason JC Penny really took a hit when they tried “No sales/coupons, ever” because the consumer was so ingrained to assume that the sticker price is artificially high and they simply need to work a little to lower it, encountering a system where they can only take…
Futterwakken like nobody’s looking.
I wonder if the industry would (in the US) actually want that route? If they are going to sell direct to consumers, it would presumably mean they would need to set up more regional resources to replace the dealership concept. Additionally, the dealerships pay them money to use the name, buy the inventory, etc. It…
“Frabjous” is an absolutely cromulent new addition to my vocabulary.
If that dog was a cat he would have torn down the sign just so someone would break the window #catsarejerks
Maybe the Musker can add a feature that displays a note onto the windows for passers by to let them know there are no hot dogs inside.
That dog has good handwriting
What what?
came here for this. was not disappointed.
That’s no doubt true. It’s also true that a lot of dealership salesmen are two-faced jackasses themselves.
Big Enos: I want some of that California spirits that make me glow in the dark! What do you say about that, Little E?
I don’t think soldering is the right way to do things in automotive modifications and repair. I make wiring repairs to vehicles every day and modify my own cars and my friends stuff outside of work and I literally have never soldered any connections on a car. I only use quality (not the plastic covered autozone ones)…
Standing ovation for these gearheads!
I cant agree more. I had a 2009 and now a 2012 Mazdaspeed 3. I have 2 car seats in the back and 380whp to bomb around with. For the money it is really hard to find an alternative that can make the same amount of power with 4 doors.
+1...or +3? The MS3 is actually very reliable, it has a few known weaknesses around motor mounts and rear suspension, but the rest of it is bullet proof. When modding, there are other issues (which is where you’ll hear reliability issues come from) but those have all long been sorted out and if you do the right mods…
