beat me to it

How often do we have to talk about all season tires not actually being appropriate for ALL seasons?

or pony up for extra leg room that most flights now have (either as first class or just an upgrade)

At 6ft 3 but with longer legs than people who are 6ft 5 I find complaining honestly helps. I usually take an aisle seat and stick one leg in the aisle while bending the other awkwardly during take off and landing and stand if there is space the rest of the flight.

Many years ago, sabotage to salvage parts was probably a more likely reason for booby traps. Some farmers also fought against the race going through their land, etc. Generally speaking, SCORE goes to a great deal of effort to maintain agreements with the little towns (ejidos) to make sure there's not a known threat

I've spent much time in Baja and Central Washington. I agree with this statement. In 20 years of traveling Baja I've never been treated with anything but respect from the locals. I can't say the same of Yakima. Or most of California.

In some less developed parts of the world, people will make routes into their own personal toll road. IE. There's a big boulder in the middle of a hill road, and when you stop, you're really lucky that a local farmer is there; he offers to drag it out of the way with his farm tractor, for a few $. After you move on,

I genuinely miss the old bricks.

"You're a jerk" I lost it at this point. Fantastic! Why have I never seen this before?

I totally agree and I don't advocate relying on Photoshop, but if it's an otherwise great picture blemished by a light pole or some randoms, you better believe they're getting clone stamped or Content Aware'd away.

Try things.

You're wrong. Photography isn't about cameras, it's about capturing light in interesting ways. Maybe YOU can't do it with an iPhone camera, but other people sure as hell can.

Great comment about making sure you are aware of what's going on behind the vehicle.

If i'm using a DSLR that takes high enough res/quality photo that I know I'll be able to afford a crop, I'll purposefully get as much background in the photo as possible so I have more options when it comes to post production. That being said, when I hobby shot on the 35mm SLR, composition was king.

Forgetting basic technique like camera control and eschewing high-end equipment, my favorite rule of thumb is to change your perspective. Look for what's interesting about a car, but from a vantage point that's different from the usual. Meaning, don't stand by the car and hold the camera to your face. Get down on your

Not really.

It actually is pretty simple, those that get paid are ones who just produce results on a consistent basis.

Video is shot in landscape.

No, I wouldn't know anything about your '02 Kenworth T600, 13 speed, Cummins engine, 430 HP, 12000 Lbs Front axle rating with polished alum... Somethin' like that? Weird... That thing must have fallen straight from space! Well, good luck with your future ride, spaceman!
