Just curious, where does it say that? I didn’t see that in the post or the St. Louis newspaper article it linked to.

I’d tend to agree with you here. But in a case where there’s a weapon involved, the victim is badly cut in multiple places, and the police officers on scene are also attacked, I think those facts speak louder than any speculation as to what may have or could have happened.
Well, that and the fact that the other attacker was charged by police kind of indicate that it wasn’t self defense.
There were 2 people involved in the attack on the civilian who was cut, so I’d say it doesn’t look like self defense.
Yeah, she literally sliced an officer and her neighbor. I’m curious what other details you need here? There are cases where it’s perfectly fine to be upset about a police shooting, but this isn’t one of them.
But that study shows that what you just said is not true. Maybe if you look at nursing across the board, male nurses make more, but that could be because male nurses work at better hospitals, or other reasons. If you control for many variables, what that study says is that a male and female nurse, with the same…
So that sites like Jezebel will post stories about them to give them free publicity. Really wasn’t that hard to figure that out.
Kind of a tangent here, but since we’re on the topic of spoilers, would you consider a trailer to be spoilers? And if not, then why?
The ever elusive Foxtrot Alpha post that Jalopnik readers won’t bitch about.
So if you had just gone 80 mph the whole time, you would’ve won that race. Sounds like a cool sport.
No, I really don’t. If it did, there would be a dress code.
What if they just had a 5th official who would review these kinds of plays so that play would not have to stop? Or have a central location where video is reviewed, like in hockey?
Will his shoulders hurt if he misses everytime he swings??
Ok, you’re kinda a condescending asshole, so I’ll just say this. Wealth is a very ambiguous term. There isn’t a socioecomic level or household salary that is defined by the term, so it wasn’t a silly assumption. My point is that being born to a dentist or to a lawyer doesn’t make it your destiny to be rich, hard work…
That’s a link to the list of Forbes richest people. It provides no breakdown of how many were born to wealthy families or any of the obscure facts you threw out about billionaire backgrounds. And I didn’t address your point about America because I have no issue with that, it’s kind of stating the obvious. This is…
Yeah cool stats with no sources. Sounds legit. And the wealthy people born into wealthy families...how exactly do you think those families got to be wealthy? They started a business. It’s a huge risk, as you laid out. But that is exactly why they end up being billionaires, because the biggest risks carry the biggest…
You can vote absentee in any state weeks ahead of time. Literally all you have to do is fill out a form at any time ahead of the election, pay for a stamp, and drop it in a mailbox. The idea that the lower class is being oppressed or excluded from the voting process is so insane. I’ve voted absentee in the last 3…
