Her quoting Anais Nin to Nathan in a previous episode made me roll my eyes a bit - and while I really do love that quote, it seemed like a good contribution to the "one dimensional" element.

I think an excellent element that keeps us guessing is the visions Jane has, because we can't always discern whether they're imagined or flashbacks. Tonight, we saw the briefest of glimpses into her mind, envisioning Ziggy putting his hands around a little girl. But are we to believe that she's just thinking about…
I can't help but wonder if Kidman was conjuring up her days being married to Tom Cruise, in order to convey the pain in her expression. (I mean that seriously.)
Uhhh… she didn't. Just because she's acknowledging that rapes are often thought of (or even depicted) that way, doesn't mean she endorses that narrative.

Like, once upon a time and under different circumstances, she would have been just as swept up in their mania as they…
Anyone notice that when the camera pulled back to show Ray sitting by Herme on the couch, that Herme's lifeless hand was resting on Ray's right forearm, almost in a comforting/consoling way? Can't help but wonder whether or not that was a deliberate detail.
While I am not Lena Dunham's biggest fan, I will give her credit where credit is due - when it comes to dramatic/vulnerable scenes for Hannah, she kills it. She's got the talent for subtle facial expressions.
Did anyone else raise an eyebrow at how good ol' "Steady Eddie" was looking at Abby as she was taking pictures outside?
(If there's anything to this, please no spoilers - I haven't read the book.)
She's the kind of person you'd be afraid to be friends with - you're tempted at first, but then see what happens when you're on her bad side…
Was just thinking the same thing during tonight's episode - I'm also liking Madeline more, as time goes on. And while her grudges would exhaust me, I'm impressed by her loyalty.
