As an athletic official I can say the referee lost his cool... When a mass confrontation occurs you get together as a crew and leave. As a referee you have ultimate power to throw out anyone no need to be sucked down to these fools level.

It’s only awful if you put yourself before the players and, oh yeah, if you have ZERO people skills whatsoever.
