All of their revenue comes from service charges (which honestly, aren't that terrible all things considered, several other ticket resellers have much higher feeds) the last minute charges go up, yes. Seattle isn't a big market? Pretty sure Seattle also has an average payroll of 98.3 million a year over the past 6 years. Teams like the Mariners and Royals aren't competitive because they make terrible choices in free agency/trade market and have prospects who for whatever reason didn't pan out.
