The theory is the interview was what made the Queen push Charles and Diana to divorce. Prior to that both were willing to just be separated forever. If they had stayed married, she would have kept her RPO and the RPO never would have allowed her to get in the car with a drunk driver or not wear a seatbelt. But that…
If you’re going to fucking bring your fucking kid to a fucking bar, the little fuckers are going to fucking learn some new fucking words (or at least one in fucking particular).
Because the UK now is basically what the US will be when it’s no longer the global hegemon.
You are either cooking it wrong or eating the wrong cut/grade of steak. Assuming its a steak-worthy cut (strip, ribeye, etc.) cooking it further would only make it tougher/drier
Counterpoint: Ang Lee’s Hulk rules, and has actually aged like fine wine in an era of self-serious and ugly-looking comic book movies.
That’s what people said before Guardians of the Galaxy.
If you order a steak well done it is definitely a red flag. It means you lack any kind of functional taste buds, which means I’m now the de facto cook at all times during the relationship.
One sales executive alleges she lost half of her assignments after the CEO replaced her with a former colleague from Playboy.
Good advice but keep in mind this was written by a person who works for Jim Spanfeller.
It’s hard for me too. My uncle was a priest and met her many times...one of her convents was attached to his church. She always seemed pretty kind to me, and when she would visit, her trips always inspired a pretty poor city to have some hope. The women in the convent has done a lot for the city.
Ehhhh. These scalpers are kind of different than the ones scalping ps5's and xboxes. These people are pathetic because they’re snatching up new releases where the money is really in old releases.
Which is a lot different from “you can never leave this place.” Sure, it has rules about who can be a member in good standing, but even the people who couldn’t participate in communion weren’t turned away at the door, or threatened. So... not a cult.
Nah. Working a dead end job doesn’t make you like this. Everyone’s got to make money to eat and you take what you can get sometimes. This is just more greed fueled idiocy from trend chasers hoping to make some easy money.
No she didn’t. Functionally, the management of the convent was in the hands of the abbess and her subordinates. I mean, Chaucer even jokes about it.
It’s not a cult in that it doesn’t demand you cut off from your family, you can come and go at any time, you can live anywhere you’d like, and you are free to have your own possessions. You may think they have weird beliefs, but that doesn’t make them a cult.
Where did you get the idea that it’s “usually women” who are excommunicated?
None of that is really related to culthood, though. Except arguably for the position of the Pope, but even that is massively watered-down compared to an actual cult.
This is tough for me. I’m an adoptee, from one of her orphanages. So, this idea of her as a saint was a huge foundational belief throughout my childhood/teenage years. My parents still lay my survival (abandoned at a MofC chapter house in Western India) squarely at her feet.
“Excuse my naiveté, but I thought we had all agreed the answer was maybe yes years ago.”
