It was the worst of the overly-talky Zeldas, that didn’t help.

It’s both. Skyward was basically a poor Metroid, with backtracking to substitute the lack of content ala Breath and Twilight. It’s like Star Fox Zero, even if you take away the jank controls, you got a half-assed concept in place.

Mine are mostly “would you just SHUT UP Fi and let me just play the game already” based

Yep. Age seems a bit like alcohol, in that it can bring out how you truly feel. And it often seems like it boils down to the way you perceive your own life in relation to others.

I’m starting to think that as people age they either become harder and more hateful, or softer and more loving. Rush Limbaugh, Qanon, Tea Party politics, etc just hasten the process and make it happen faster.

My earliest memory of him is when he repeatedly bullied Chelsea Clinton - who was 12 or 13 at the time - by referring to her as the White House dog. More than once.

Folks on Twitter putting it better than I could.

Would I buy one for myself when I am craving donut? Unlikely.

> disillusioned and disappointed that 3D World a) isn’t a 3D world, and b) feels like a rehash of every other 2D Mario I’ve already played enough thanks

I have so many problems with this writeup I don’t even know where to start, but one thing that struck me was the comment on Nintendo not embracing brevity. As someone who’s currently playing Valhalla, I feel like you’re way off the mark. Mario games aren’t long. I ran through a couple worlds in 3D World in one

No, that’s essentially it. Lobsters don’t have vocal chords so screaming isn’t possible.

It is the humane thing to do, though, to kill them first.  A lot of countries have banned the boiling of live lobsters.

4 got a fighting game, the dancing game, and the Etrian Odyssey type games. It got PLENTY of love.

I agree that Kotaku’s review was a bit too tough on Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity fell short in storytelling and missed opportunities to explain further about the Champions, but the battle system is just right to me. Breath of the Wild’s combat pacing was really slow and clumsy,

Welcome to the wish-fulfillment service that is Japanese male-centric media!

I suspect no one is willing to fire the guy with Stage 4 cancer.

So your main takeaway from her post is that she writes funny, not that there was some (at the least) creepy shit going on that they had to make a rule like that in the first place? She was like 14 years old.

Something I try to remind others is that it takes guts to be gentle and kind but it takes nothing to be cruel.

Now playing

Good piece, Sam

It’s worth noting that Ferguson’s Britney talk was part of a larger monologue about his alcoholism
He used his position of power (a network TV show) and made himself truly vulnerable on that show to stick up for someone he thought was being unfairly treated
There wasn’t a lot of that going on then

It’s a
