Fun fact: the US and South Sudan are the only 2 UN members who have failed to ratify the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, a treaty with the sole purpose of protecting the rights and well being of children (Somolia, another hold out, finally caved). One of the things it prohibits is subjecting children (whose

I'm just annoyed at how many people, especially grown women, don't know the difference between a vulva and a vagina. Even if she was wearing nothing below the waist you wouldn't be able to see her vagina in that pose!

So everyone, answer me this:

Did HANNAH DAVIS decide which photo ended up on the cover? Did she make that call? Or did she just, you know, show up, do her job, and then someone chose that photo?

Did HANNAH DAVIS think "Yeah, I think I'll pull my bathing suit down a little, that is an idea I am having personally" or was

Maybe I'm too liberal but I don't see the big deal. I wish parents were more honest and say that they're uncomfortable looking at half naked people and leave kids out of it. Kids for the most part don't give a shit about a lot of stuff parents worry about. How will this cover harm them?

This dude only got 9 years as punishment for trying to kill someone and he gets pics of her children? Oh hell no. Hell. No. This is terrifying. Is he going to get visitation after his release too? I think your parental rights kind of end at throat slitting.

I think the author misses the point; it's not really about lying. It's about knowing the difference between when your partner is asking for honesty and when s/he is asking for validation. A wife asking if she looks fat is not looking for the truth or a white lie- she wants to know her husband is still attracted to

I'm sorry, this man obviously has many, many troubles but he abused an animal. It's being played for laughs and shock value but that's what happened and I wish those who report on this story would stop dancing around that fact. This isn't too far from young kids who are physically or sexually abused in the home who

"But zoophilia draws on the desire to elicit consent nonverbally from the animal, as much as a person can."

I love it when people compare the rights of human beings to those of animals and think it doesn't make them look completely fucking ridiculous.

Yes! "The state doesn't own your children, parents own their children, and it is an issue of freedom." By his argument, parents should be able to do anything, anything to their children! Abuse, selling them, killing them. The state shouldn't step in for any reason, because kids are property, and property rights are

Parents do not own their children. That's just a really weird and disturbing way of looking at parenthood. It's also not all that backed up by law or logic. I can sell my tv on Craigslist and yet those who have tried to do the same with children have found that the law frowns upon it and will put them in jail for it.

Mr. Baker, as a man, I fail to see the problem with having multiple highly-qualified women candidates. If a strong woman scares a man who is considering a run for office from pursuing it, I think that says a hell of a lot more about the quality of the male candidate than the female candidate.

True story:

Reminds me of the time I lost my wallet and the cop I reported it to arrested me for robbing myself.

"I have lots of ideas about such girls, but these ideas are not actionable because they don't allow [you] to get close enough,"

"seasoned clothing-optional gyration specialist." Nicely done Anna. I have a few ideas
