Much like with regular consumer quad copters, there would be failsafes. In this case, if the software were to crash, or if it lost contact with the system hub, it would mechanically try to stabilize itself, or the human pilot would take over. The Cugnot Steam Traction engine didnt show off its 0-60. Model T’s didnt show off 0-60s. Cars werent focusing only on 0-60 until they were reliable enough to be driven without too much consideration in the 50's to today. I have only ever seen this with cars that have Florida License Plates. They are common in NJ due to the snow-birds that move to Florida for the winter. But when I last went down to Fl myself, I saw it everywhere. I actually want to crash into people with their hazards on in the rain. It makes me irrationally mad.
