i use the boiling off process to seperate the goo strings. i dont spend a lot of time sorting. i am pretty lazy.

you can always buy a sugar pumpkin and use the seeds, plus roast the flesh. theres a number of gourds (all of them are edible, some are more palatable than others) whose seeds you can roast, but also eat the flesh as like, soup or roasted or whatever.

i mean, fake it til you make it.  If you want an instagram life, just perform it until you understand the mechanics of making it happen, and decide if you still want it.
