What is there in the prequels that could possibly have any relevance to the new movies? They themselves only existed to serve the original trilogy.

If she feels as though she was ‘coerced’ into those scenes I think she is justified in her backlash. Also let’s be honest here, it isn’t like it’s JUST her saying one thing, there are now multiple people (outside of the two in this news piece) who have mentioned Franco’s creepiness.

I have to wonder how many of Franco’s other victims are staying quiet because of that backlash.

He is such a fucking self-admiring sleaze bag. I feel awful for his victims, but also incredible anger at him as a person. The way he combines hipster irony with pretend-woke “post-feminist” sexual politics (as well as money and power) to camouflage his raging misogyny and obvious egomania really makes my blood boil.

Yeah...no. Taking a class to learn how to comfortably perform a common type of acting scene is not like getting a job as a stripper. Doing a sex scene takes specific choreography and needs to be approached professionally as well as with the proper mindset; you have to figure out how to get comfortable doing something…

JFC, stop using Weinstein as some sort of standard to measure terrible behavior. When you do that, the initial reaction will be, “Oh no, not like that,” which downplays the original behavior in question and further contributes to this problem.

I follow Sarah on Twitter and been seeing the backlash against her from people who don’t get it. She’s tough and I hope she keeps speaking out and being tough.

I’m happy and grateful these women called Franco out on his shit. But also sad they think he’s capable of change.

The “OK” knocked me out. It has to be the the step child of “I said what I said” This child is COMPLETELY unbothered by his teacher. It’s fabulous. And I have been trying to find a way to articulate what my mood for 2018 is and this child found it for me.
