I spent, like, an hour while I was writing this trying to figure out whether he's a character. If he is, he's been doing it for a while, and the satire is bone-dry.
I feel like that's a callback, but I couldn't place it.
That's a great line. I love it whenever the show spells out Archer's way-too-easy approach to life.
