I’m more than inclined to believe that there was no actual “prank” and it was likely just straight up harassment at the minimum.

And I play it far, far more than my PC or Switch.

Good for you?

Streaming games is a terrible option, especially if it’s the only way to play.

Series X does have a limitation keeping some games from running on it: The Series S.

If you don’t want to try getting a game to run on the Series S (which is a lot weaker and has 37.5% less RAM) then you can’t make a Series X game, because MS requires they work on both.

Now SE is probably full of shit here, but that

No, that is absolutely not true. The economic incentives for MS vs. Activision are totally different.

Crazy how many people out here shilling for MSFT like the gaming world will somehow magically be a better place if they can buy ActiBlizz

Doubtful, the majority of people buying it don’t have much skin in the race on either side and don’t really care either way. A boycott was never going to work, the thing is a huge part of pop and fantasy culture now. The people equating playing the game to murdering trans people were never going to buy it, and the

Lol go fuck yourself, Russophobe.

So did buying any from American during it’s occupations of Iraq or Afghanistan. Why should the fact that thier government is involved in illegal war make any more of a difference?

It shouldn’t be surprising that game studios owned by people in totalitarian countries where speaking out against the government is a good way to get arrested ... don’t speak out against the government. It’s kind of, tautological.

They should have.

I gotta say: with the way Microsoft is kicking and screaming, I hope the FTC shuts the deal down quickly. This performative “10 year deal” bullshit they’re trying to pull is as transparent a monopoly play as I’ve ever seen.

Mergers are inevitable.

Pretty sure those mergers would never get past regulators. If regulators are freaking out about MS acquiring a third-party publisher, imagine how they’d react to MS acquiring their direct competitors.

MS has never handled an IP well.

It’s a huge merger, and huge mergers are ultimately bad for consumers, especially in already-rapidly consolidating industry like video games, to say nothing of the employees that will undoubtedly get laid off after the merger is approved. It’s not about just CaLl oF DUtY.

Yeah... nobody’s issue with this merger has anything to do with whether or not Microsoft will handle the IPs well.

Here’s my, probably controversial, Hot Take: Forcing your idea of someone’s sexual orientation on someone is the same as misgendering them. It’s disgusting, gross, people don’t realize it’s just as harmful, and it’s hypocritical.

You totally forgot the best one from E3 2013:
