Make sure you get a drive that supports the trim command, not all of them do (most new ones do).

@aeiluindae: I read the same article, the "holes" were fixed fairly quickly after. If used correctly, Truecrypt data is absolutely indistinguishable from random noise.
Great setup and gotta hand it to the kid for being so ambitious.
